Customers have rights under the Australian Consumer Law when a salesperson approaches at their front door, over the phone or in a public place.

These protections apply to sales methods that are called ‘unsolicited consumer agreements’.

There are specific rules we must following which include:

• How and when you can approach a customer
• What information you must give a customer
• The customers right to cancel
