Job Description

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Electrical Engineering will be responsible for overseeing energy upgrade projects from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are executed with precision and efficiency. This role involves managing contractors, coordinating lead activities, and keeping product databases up to date with the latest specifications and pricing. You will be the key point of contact for quoting, designing, and project managing lighting and energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and partners. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems, making them more efficient and robust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing contractors and coordinating lead and energy upgrade activities.
  • Onboarding of internal contractors and external aggregation clients.
  • Quoting, designing, specification and project management of lighting & energy efficiency upgrade projects.
  • Project managing of energy efficiency upgrade install works coordinating the delivery of activities ensuring quality, on-budget and timely plus creating satisfied clients and partners.
  • Supporting and continuously improving processes and systems to make them smarter, more efficient, and robust to deliver our own and our clients upgrade and energy efficient projects.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of expertise in electrical engineering, including hands-on experience in project design and execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Programs such as Word, PowerPoint. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Position Details:

  • Salary Range: FJD $28,000 – $35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 07:00pm (AEST 08:00am – 05:00pm). 
  • Location: Centrepoint, Lot 2 Ratu Dovi Road, Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.
